HYPE it UP

Hey guys, 

It's the 31st evening here in Mumbai and I really wanted to thank each and every one of you who make it a point to check my blog out regularly,

Its you love and encouragement that drives me,

Also for those of you who have been dropping me mails about the missing "Follow" button on my blog, I finally figured it out, Its on the right hand side column >

I wanted to end this roller coaster of a year on a good note, rather with a great blog post,

I've been crushing on Jumpsuits and dungarees all year round,  they're just so effortlessly chic!

This unusual shade caught my eye and I love the whole casual vibe it gives, My Dior glasses are probably my favorite buy this year,

They go with everything and push everything up a notch,

I love the edginess the purple lips add but I haven't used them for the entire shoot to give you guys a distinct difference it can make to your entire look,

I personally like it with the bold purple lip colour but it looks great without  if that's more your thing.

I really hope you guys like this,

Christmas DIY

Hey all you lovely people,

Christmas is just such an amazing time, these two weeks of celebration, energy and excitement along with looking back at an adventure of a year, looking forward to the new one that’s right around the corner,

With the fluffy slipper, candy canes, reindeer ears, Santa caps, Christmas decals, ginger bead cookies, apple pies, frosted cookies and the hot chocolate, everyone and everything is drenched in the holiday spirit.

To cut down on the excess spending and till look your best this season, I’ve come up with DIY accessory hacks,

The Christmas bauble earrings and The Candy Cane necklace,

Beyond Boundaries

So this friend of mine has been pushing me to post my art work because I hardly ever (read: never) do, 

This is a conceptual piece that I did a few months back:

As design students we are always told, "think out of the box" and I've tried to show why I don't stand for this, Yes you read right, "Don't".

You see the first painting of the series shows an idea that's trapped within the box,

The second shows the mind "thinking out of the box,

And the third is what I swear by,

Because when it comes to creativity, I believe there shouldn't be a box,

With absolutely no rules and no restrictions the mind is boundless and free, 

and this is what gives rise to a huge idea!

A Marsala Winter

I have quite a few coming up for you guys,

Marsla is the Pantone colour of the year 2015, and now that the year is coming to an end and my obsession for it is gradually dying,

I though I'd do a winter post on it in my favourite turtle neck knit,

My favourite boots and a pair of well fit dark blue denims,

Oh and my Marsala hat for the touch of drama...

Nail event at the Taj Tea House, Bandra

Hey guys,

So I recently shared with you a post ( 50 Sahdes of Grey http://thegirlinskyhighheels.blogspot.in/2015/11/shades-of-grey-this-is-what-i-wore-for.html ) showing you what I wore for the LYN nails event at the Taj Tea House,

Sharing a few pictures of the event as well,

It was such a pleasure meeting all these wonderful people and it was so well organiised by LYN and Madison India,

We had some games organised for us and I had to paint someones nails with a blinfold on,

LYN's new collection, 'Shades of grey' is gorgeous and I have been obsessing over them for a while now,
Loves my manicure and my bag of LYN goodies.
